[Services for Existing Structures] Post-Fire Investigation

Conducting a more accurate survey! It is also possible to investigate the estimation of the tensile strength of steel materials and the measurement of bolt axial force.

In the case of fire-resistant structures such as reinforced concrete and steel structures, most instances do not develop into large-scale fires even if a fire occurs, thus avoiding destruction. Therefore, it is necessary to accurately assess the structural safety and durability of the remaining structures for safe reuse after a fire. As guidelines for such post-fire investigations, the Architectural Institute of Japan has published "Guidelines for Fire Damage Diagnosis and Repair/Strengthening Methods, and Commentary," and the Japan Society of Civil Engineers has published "Guidelines for Diagnosis and Repair of Steel Bridges Affected by Fire." At Just, we conduct more precise investigations by incorporating our own non-destructive testing methods in accordance with these guidelines. Additionally, by applying non-destructive testing technology, it is also possible to estimate the tensile strength of steel materials and measure bolt axial forces on-site without damaging the components.
